Amazing Spider-Man #182: It's a first read for me!
ReplyDeleteCover: 3. Mostly for the incorrect cover text. "The Rocket Racer's back in town!" I seriously doubt he ever left town.
Story: 4. Marriage proposal? Sure, not nearly enough build up, but what a cliffhanger! In spite of me teasing Racer, I think we're getting to see more of his motivation, and I'm hoping it'll be interesting. Good start for the new writer.
Star Wars #13: First read for me!
Cover: 4. Chewbacca looks great! Fighting with friends? Oh I'm in!
Story: 3. I like how it's proceeding. Not great, but very good. Now the question I have for the ship-stealing-yahoos on the planet. They've been there for generations? Um, I didn't see any women. How are they making any "generations"? You kinda need women for that, right?
And hey, speaking of women, Leia continuing to kick ass and take names! Her character has been on point in this series. Loving that!
