Journey with him through space and time to Christmas 1979, his experience seeing a very strange sci-fi epic, and a consideration of Disney’s Dark Age that still held some true gems.

The Black Hole remains my favorite Disney movie of all time, and a lot of that is because it, like Star Wars, has a lived in world where you don't get all of your answers. Kate and VINCENT have an ESP connection. Cool. I really don't need a subplot explaining it. Unlike 2001, which I truly had sections that I didn't understand until I read the novel, this one has questions and makes you think, but I never had a problem knowing what was going on.
