40 episodes! I can't believe it! And quite a high note to leave it on. Well done, guys .... oh you're not done? Oh. Huh. (Packs up the "So Long!" banner and balloons.)
ReplyDeleteASM #184: It's a first read for me, Pat!
Cover: 3. I like it, but wouldn't say love it.
Story: I'll give it a Joe November 3.5. Betty back and looking great (you crazy, Pat), enjoyed the story and want to see how Spidey gets out of this, and definitely kudos for putting more diverse characters in the story. Good on you, Marv! With that, White Dragon's costume and headpiece? Looks too ridiculous and awkward. If not for that, it'd be a 4.
Jarrod, I did my best to cover your "challenges" on the Twitters!
X-Men #113: Not a first read. :(
Cover: 4. Only a couple of nitpicks keep it from being a 5. It's awesome.
Story: 5. Yes. I said it, 5. This is Claremont's X-Men. Fleshing out the backstory of a character. (Storm no less!) Telepathic coordination. The team coming together with a plan to fight an overpowering villain. Extra creative tactic in the battle. One member improvising but effectively! This is what I've waited to see with Claremont's writing, and I LOVE it!
Keep on Crusading, Chroniclers!
